PENMAX is a liquid material that is properly formulated to lower the surface tension of water and allow efficient penetration into diverse soil types. The action of this product is to lower the surface tension of water to allow the penetration of "hard to wet soils" such as expandable clay and adobes and other compacted soils. Fertilizer can also be carried into the soils, along with the water, promoting nutrient absorption, and deeper root systems, thus making for healthier plants. Excess salts will also be carried away from the root zone as the water continues to percolate downward.
